Hope to see you all this Thursday, 8/18, to discuss THE DEVIL IN DOVER.  Remember, even if you haven’t read the book, feel free to join us for fellowship (and I’m sure we’ll all have something to say about the latest entry into the GOP presidential field).

We’ll be meeting at Diane Groves’ home:  2508 Rosehill Lane in Plano – near the intersection of Park & Coit.

Please try to arrive between 6:45 – 7 pm.

B.Y.O.B.  Also, feel free to bring a snack to share.

Also bring ideas for our next book choice – we’ll be meeting again in November.

The August meeting’s program topic is Issues in Women’s Health.  We will have two speakers: Dr. Kimberly Williams of Innovations Wellness Center will focus on preventive health care and what women should know and focus on; and Kelly Hart of Planned Parenthood of North Texas will explain how legislative issues and budget cuts have lowered the availability and access to such preventive measures.

This should be a very informative, passionate, and timely discussion on how women can protect themselves and their health.

Gather at 6:45. Call to order at 7:00. Preston Ridge Campus of Collin College, 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco, Texas, Founders Hall, Shawnee Room F148. Click for detailed maps.
