March 26, 2012
6:45 pmto8:30 pm

Our March meeting will feature Liz Wally of Clean Elections Texas.

“Imagine real democracy: a responsive government of, by and for the people. We can have true representation, rather than governance by those with the most money. Learn how you can bring publicly financed political campaigns to Texas. Where is this already being done? Is it popular? How is it paid for? Is it constitutional? Just how does it work for the voter and for the candidate?

“You’ll be surprised and excited with the answers to these questions. This is a non-partisan issue, since all citizens want to have a chance to be heard over the noise of those who pay for politicians.”

Preston Ridge Campus of Collin College, 9700 Wade Blvd., Frisco, Texas, Founders Hall, Shawnee Room F148. Click for detailed maps.

Gather at 6:45, call to order at 7:00pm.
