Vote for the next selection for book club
Thanks to all who came out last evening — what a fun discussion! I love being around all you smart women.
A special thanks to Diane Groves for hosting. And a big, happy “welcome back” to Kim Adams.
Here are the books we discussed for our next get-together (February 2012). Please look over the suggestions and get your vote back to me by Monday, 11/28. I’ll then send out the choice.
Jacqueline Kennedy: Historic Conversations on Life with John F. Kennedy
Pearls, Politics, and Power: How Women Can Win and Lead
The Shock Doctrine: The Rise of Disaster Capitalism
Here Comes Trouble: Stories from My Life
Back to Work: Why We Need Smart Government for a Strong Economy
The Dictator’s Handbook: Why Bad Behavior is Almost Always Good Politics
As mentioned last evening, I’ll be turning over the running of the book club to Diane Groves’ capable hands. She’ll be heading up TDWCC’s social events starting January 2012.
If you have any questions/comments, let me know.
Cheers,
Lynn Wolfe
