History of TDWCC
On April 6, 2006, the Texas Democratic Women of Collin County was reborn with great enthusiasm. Spurred to action by the distortion of Democratic values on the public stage, the 2006 Charter Members set out to provide women in Collin County with an opportunity to get involved in the political process.
2007, the organization's first full year, was a big success! 103 women officially joined the group, many more women and men participated in activities, monthly meetings featured outstanding speakers, necessary funds were raised for important 2008 GOTV, and the TDWCC became well-known throughout the community and in the press.
