Silent Auction Items
Below are some examples of our valuable and unique items that will be in the TDWCC dinner silent auction.
If you would like to donate to the silent auction, e-mail Helen at dennisandhelen@yahoo,com. If you want to donate but don't have something in mind, let Helen know approximately how much you want to spend and she can make suggestions.
Senator Obama Purse
This is a custom-made, limited edition Senator Barack Obama purse by artist/designer Joan Studwell. The autographed "Hope" poster is decoupage, hand-painted, and glazed onto the purse. The other side of the purse features the "Change" poster.
Leather Purse Designed by Governor Ann Richards
Governor Richards was always looking for the perfect purse. When she couldn't find it, she designed her own. This is one of only approximately a dozen prototypes produced and they were never manufactured. Donated by Mary Beth Rogers, Governor Richards' campaign manager and Chief of Staff.
Orlando, Florida Getaway at 4 Star Resort
Alan and Barb Walters are offering a WorldVentures getaway. Included is a 5 day/4 night stay in a 2 bedroom condo (sleeps up to 6) in Orlando, Florida at the 4 star Bahama Bay Resort and Spa. All condos are fully equipped with gourmet kitchens and private screened in balconies. Offer valid between December 10, 2008 and October 31, 2009, with some black out dates. Condo must be booked 30 days in advance of travel. A $600 value. (Package does not include airline tickets.)

TDWCC dinner Keynote Speaker Mary Beth Rogers will sign her books Texas Women: A Celebration of History, Barbara Jordan: American Hero, and Cold Anger: A Story of Faith and Power Politics.
   
Collection of 2 Autographed Books by President Clinton
The winning bidder will receive autographed hardback copies of My Life and Giving.
Note: The books will be shipped to President Clinton's office after the auction and sent directly to the winning bidder from his office.
 
Collection of 4 Autographed Books by Senator Clinton
The winning bidder will receive autographed hardback copies of Living History, It Takes a Village, An Invitation to the White House, and Dear Socks, Dear Buddy.

This consultation ($85 value) is offered by professional interior designer Andrea Krolick. Andrea has over 15 years experience and more than 1,000 satisfied customers in the metroplex. She has received numerous awards, including #1 Interior Designer for Dillards and Best Master Bedroom, Kaleidoscope of Homes.
