Step 1. Precinct Convention, Tues, March 2, 7:15 pm.
Why? This is where delegates are chosen for the County Convention and you are able to submit resolutions that can end up on the Democratic Party Platform.
Return to your precinct’s polling place at 7:15 p.m. for the Precinct Convention. If you early voted, still go. And remember that your precinct might have changed since Collin County added 17 more precincts.
Step 2. County Convention, Sat, March 20, 10:30 am. Plano Centre.
Why? This is where delegates vote on resolutions and other business and select delegates to go to the State Convention. All Democrats are welcome even if you aren’t a delegate.
Step 3. State Convention, Sat-Sun, June 25-26, Corpus Christi.
Why? To conduct the business of the Democratic Party, learn the political process, and have a great time! You can sign up now to volunteer at the county or state conventions.
